WHO WE HELP

House of Sadaqa provides support for those who struggle to build on their potential capacity, to achieve independence and regain fulfillment in their lives.

BROKEN FAMILIES: This refers to divorced parents, single mothers and women escaping domestic violence – usually coming out of a refuge home. Once these families are provided with housing, we are able to re furnish their home and try to alleviate some of their pain by helping them start a new life.

REFUGEES/NEW STARTERS: Many refugee or asylum seeking families are referred to us from various organisations. The term refugee usually refers to families arriving to Australia from other countries, in which they are given housing from the government, but do not receive any or enough financial aid to afford basic household items.

NATURAL DISASTER: This refers to families whose homes and or belongings are destroyed or lost due to natural disasters such as house fires, flooding, robbery, earthquakes, tsunamis etc. Facing this disaster would render a family who can normally afford a comfortable life destitute – without any belongings and not enough immediate income to purchase a house full of essential items required.

We believe that we are all each a piece of a puzzle with the same purpose and intentions, to provide aid and support for struggling members of our community. Each charity we work with has it’s own specialty from providing groceries, bill payments, counseling, translation and helping the homeless to name a few. Together we can service our community with quality and unity.
