WHAT IS FAMILIES FIRST?

Families First is House of Sadaqa’s ongoing family support initiative.

Through Families First, donors commit to supporting a family with essential needs such as:

• Groceries and Food security

• Furniture and Household essentials

• Appliances and Practical items

• Stability during times of hardship

This is not about emergency relief alone. It’s about care that continues.

HOW FAMILIES FIRST WORKS

Families First is designed to be simple, transparent, and sustainable.

You can choose to:

• Support one family for $100 per month, or

• Make a one-time commitment of $1,200, supporting entire families for a year

• Support multiple families, if you’re able.

Your support goes directly toward assisting families enrolled in our Family Support Program, helping cover essential household needs.

Monthly support allows us to plan better, respond faster, and support families with greater consistency.

LOCAL IMPACT & TRUST

House of Sadaqa has been supporting local families for over 15 years.

We’ve supported over 1,000 families, but due to limited resources, many families have had to be turned away.

Families First helps close that gap, one family at a time – because no family should struggle alone.

Families supported through Families First are treated with care, respect, and confidentiality.

We don’t sensationalise hardship or place families in the spotlight. Instead, we focus on delivering practical support quietly and consistently – allowing families to rebuild with dignity.
