Work and Development Orders (WDOs)
If you’re struggling to pay a fine or debt owed to Revenue NSW, volunteering with House of Sadaqa may be a way to reduce what you owe.
As an approved WDO sponsor, House of Sadaqa allows eligible individuals to complete unpaid volunteer work with us in place of paying their fines. Every hour you volunteer helps pay down your debt through the Work and Development Order (WDO) program, a legal pathway set up by Revenue NSW.
Who is eligible?
You may be eligible to complete volunteer work with us under a Work and Development Order if you are experiencing genuine financial hardship and have unpaid fines with Revenue NSW. This program is designed to support individuals doing it tough by offering an alternative to cash payment — through meaningful community service.
