I am closing a home business. Can I donate the remaining stock?
Yes. Stock left over when a home business closes is one of the situations the shop is set up for.
Does it have to be brand new?
New or near-new. End-of-line and discontinued stock is fine. Damaged, soiled or incomplete stock is not.
Will you collect a pallet from my warehouse?
House of Sadaqa does not do pickups of furniture or used goods. For a larger commercial donation, contact House of Sadaqa first to agree how and where to deliver it rather than arriving unannounced.
Can I get a receipt for tax purposes?
House of Sadaqa Group Australia Limited holds DGR status. Ask about a receipt at the time of donation and confirm the treatment of goods donations with your own accountant, because the rules for goods differ from cash.
What happens to it?
It is sold through the shop, and the proceeds fund House of Sadaqa programs for families in crisis.
