The Goodwill Shop operates in south-west Sydney, and donations are dropped off rather than collected. Two locations take new and near-new items.
- Revesby — 6/60 Marigold St, Revesby (also the House of Sadaqa warehouse and office)
- Bankstown — 6/212 South Terrace, Bankstown
Opening hours change from time to time, so check the current hours before making a special trip.
What can I bring?
New and near-new items: unused gifts, regret purchases, unworn clothing with tags, boxed homewares, deceased estate items, excess commercial stock, or stock from a home business that has closed.
What should I not bring?
Worn or heavily used household goods and furniture. These are not what a new and near-new shop is set up for.
Can I leave things outside if you are closed?
Please do not. Donations left outside get rained on and scattered, and usually become waste before anyone opens the door. Come during opening hours.
Do I need to book?
Not for ordinary drop-offs. For a large commercial quantity, contact House of Sadaqa first so the delivery can be arranged.
Will someone collect from my home instead?
No. House of Sadaqa does not do pickups of furniture or used goods.
Can I get a receipt?
Ask at the counter. House of Sadaqa Group Australia Limited holds DGR status; confirm how goods donations are treated with your own accountant, since the rules differ from cash donations.
Every saleable item becomes funding for House of Sadaqa programs supporting local families. Current details at The Goodwill Shop.
