Donating goods to House of Sadaqa
We take new and near-new items, long-life food and Return and Earn containers. We don’t collect furniture or used goods, and we no longer run clothing bins.
Three ways to give goods
Return for Good
Have 5 or more bags of eligible Return and Earn cans, bottles or drink containers? We collect them free, anywhere in Sydney. Your 10c refunds fund Sydney families in hardship.
Fewer than 5 bags? Drop them at 6/60 Marigold St, Revesby.
New and near-new items
Unwanted gifts, regret purchases, clothing with tags, boxed homewares, deceased estate items and excess business stock.
Items go straight to families or are sold in The Goodwill Shop to fund family support.
Long-life food
Rice, pasta, lentils, canned fish, halal canned meat and other non-perishables for our Community Pantry.
Drop-off: Saturdays and Mondays, 10am to 2pm, Revesby warehouse.

Opening hours change from time to time, so please check before making a special trip. Bringing a large or commercial quantity? Contact us first so we have space ready.
What we can’t take
- Worn, stained, torn or heavily used clothing and household goods
- Furniture and mattresses
- Broken appliances or anything needing repair
- Fresh, frozen or home-cooked food, or food expiring within three months
- Anything left outside when we’re closed
For used furniture, your council’s free bulky waste collection is usually the right route.
Businesses and estates

Questions
Do you still have clothing bins?
No. We no longer run clothing bin collections. Please bring new and near-new clothing to our Revesby warehouse or The Goodwill Shop in Bankstown instead.
Do you pick up furniture or used goods?
No. The only pickup we run is Return for Good, for 5 or more bags of Return and Earn containers.
Can I get a receipt?
Ask when you drop off. House of Sadaqa holds DGR status; please check with your accountant how goods donations are treated, as the rules differ from cash donations.
